Trinity Women - There’s a Place for You!

There are so many exciting things planned for Trinity’s Presbyterian Women that you’re sure to find a place to serve and to share Christ’s love with other women.

We now have three circles which will meet once a month for Bible study and discussion:

Each group will be studying  Ecclesiastes – “For Everything, A Season” – this promises to be an exciting study which will help us as we move through the seasons of our lives.

The Miriam group will meet on the 4th Sunday at the church from 5 to 6 pm

The Naomi group will meet in individual homes on the 4th Monday at 7pm

The Mary/Martha group will meet at the church on the 4th Tuesday at 10 am.

Not “in to” Circle meetings?  Can’t work a monthly meeting into your schedule?  That’s okay!  There are many other opportunities that you can take part in – on a one time basis or as often as you can - at a group get together or in the comfort of your home.

·        We’ll have another art project – we’ll make mosaic crosses in May – at our Presbyterian Women’s birthday party.

All during the year, we’ll participate in both short and long term mission projects in which we’ll share Christ’s love with others.

For example we will:

·        knit caps and blankets for preemies

·        make bereavement gowns for still born babies

·        make lap robes for nursing home residents

·        bake goodies for shut-in baskets

·        correspond with the missionaries our church supports and learn how we can help them and the people they minister to.

·        make mosquito netting to help fight malaria in African countries.

·        offer practical support and love to young women who find themselves in problem pregnancies.

·        gather items  for  “Bundles of Joy” to give young women as  welcome gifts for their new babies.

·        collect coins in a “baby bottle boomerang” in an effort to fund ultrasounds for young pregnant women.

·        collect Campbell’s soup labels and labels from cereal boxes to help fund needed school items at Thornwell children’s home

·        collect needed items to send to Thornwell Children’s home

Throughout the year, we’ll be joining women from all over the world as we participate in the Fellowship of the Least Coin – come find out what this is all about!

If you have a transportation problem for any of our activities, let us know – we’ll come get you!  There’s a place of service for YOU – you have a unique gift to share and we need you! If you have questions or suggestions, please call Martha in the church office.  She will direct your call to someone who can answer your questions or be happy to hear your suggestions!
