Move cursor over picture for description. A unique medallion appears over the front entrance to the narthex. It was designed and crafted by member Jim Craft. The work is a Trinitarian design, thus it provides an appropriate welcome to our church. Jim's design was based on his interpretation of the relationship of the Trinity (God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) to the church universal, and to Trinity Presbyterian Church in particular. His description of his design is as follows: "There are two Trinitarian symbols found in this medallion. Each consists of three interlocking circles. The greater of these symbols, representing the Holy Trinity, bears fronds (foliage) that signify our source of life and growth. The fronds are rooted in a concentric spiral which represents eternal life. The lesser Trinitarian symbol represents Trinity Presbyterian Church, which is created in the image of God. It is bound to God with a single unbroken cord of love, binding us forever with our eternal, life-giving, God." The narthex windows look into the beautiful, restful, garden courtyard that is surrounded on three sides by the buildings of the complex.
