The function of such a committee is to
bring spiritual relationship among the members of
Trinity Presbyterian Church. Our focus is to the active member of Trinity.
These functions
consist of but are not limited to the following,
1) The Fellowship Committee is
responsible for planning and hosting events such as:
*New Members
Receptions
*Confirmation Celebration
*Tribute to Graduates
*Special Events
There will be one event per quarter
for new members for a total of four. All other events
will be planned in advance by the Fellowship Committee within the first
quarter of each
year. Each event will be posted in the Trinity newsletter two weeks in
advance. The
Fellowship Committee should solicit the services of special groups within
the church
to host such events to gain recognition.
2) Plan and organize events to build
spiritual growth among members of Trinity.
* Sporting
Events
* Outings
* Seasonal events centered around both adults and
family interaction.
These events will be structured by the Fellowship Committee to build the
inner growth
of Trinity Presbyterian Church. Events will be determined by the budgetary
range.
3) The Fellowship Committee will also
be responsible for baby showers for active
members. The committee will arrange such events with volunteers to assist
with the
following,
*
Announcements
* Reserving Fellowship Hall
* Decorations
* Refreshments
* Cleaning after event
Name badges will also be handled under
the Fellowship Committee. Badges will be
ordered for new members and present members who lose their badges. Order
forms
will be located in the church office. Upon completion the office staff
will place forms
in the appropriate box.
