Parenting Course at Trinity

Could you use some time-tested tips on being a good parent or grandparent?  Or some ways to make positive changes in your child’s behavior? Or how to create a more pleasant atmosphere in your home?  All in just 6 weeks?

If so, join us for six Wednesday nights, Oct. 13 – Nov. 17, (6:30 – 7:20),   in downstairs classroom  203. The much acclaimed series, “Have a New Kid by Friday,” produced by internationally known psychologist and award-winning author, Dr. Kevin Leman, will be presented through videos and group discussions.

Course content includes how to assess your home environment as it relates to your kids; the BIG 8 needs of children; establishing respect, good attitudes, and self esteem; and tips from Dr. Leman on how to enjoy the parenting journey – this most important of all journeys.  For more info, call Jannelle/Al Martin (979-5861) or AJ (834-9897).

Wednesday Night Live Adult Bible Study

Wednesday evenings 6:30-7:30, in the sanctuary.

This is a great option for mid-week adult Bible study. All are welcome, from young adult to seasoned citizens. The class is taught in Seminar format, and is normally lead by Rev. Mason. Various books of the Bible are studied in-depth. Time is spent looking into the historical, literary, and social contexts of Scripture, as well as seeking how God’s Word speaks to us today.
The current study is on the Acts of the Apostles.
